Recap: DOSCH DESIGN 3D-Experience Day in Düsseldorf

On May 6, 2026, the moment finally arrived: We hosted the DOSCH DESIGN 3D-Experience Day at the Design-Office Kaiserteich in Düsseldorf - and we look back on an afternoon that brought our team a great deal of joy.

What remains are many great conversations and some truly excellent ideas that we are taking away with us. The Q&A session, in particular, demonstrated just how much interest, experience, and genuine curiosity filled the room. That is precisely what makes days like this so valuable - for our visitors just as much as for us.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended - and to our on-site team: Gisela Reger and Bettina Dosch from DOSCH DESIGN, as well as Jens Heineck and Rostyslav Friedmann from KeyShot. It was a pleasure to listen, discuss, and gather fresh inspiration for our future development together with you.

We hit the road! The DOSCH 3D-Experience Day was a guest in Düsseldorf. Attendees enjoyed an exciting afternoon all about 3D and KeyShot.

The event was perfect for all beginners, switchers, and curious minds looking for the fastest route to photorealistic images. Guests spoke with specialists on site and were able to test, with no obligation, whether the rendering software KeyShot fits into their company workflow. On offer were live demos, direct expert tips, and practical know-how that can be applied on the job right away.

Attendance was free of charge.

In the new Restyle mode, you describe with a short text prompt how your product should look - materials, lighting, and environment are generated AI-assisted in seconds. With Background, the AI places your finished rendered product with correct perspective into any desired environment. And with the brand-new editing tools - Transform, Replace, and Upscale - you refine AI-generated or classically rendered images directly in KeyShot: change colors, remove elements, double or quadruple the resolution - all without Photoshop, all in one application.

In addition, there are tangible productivity upgrades: the new Custom Pivot Tool allows multiple named pivot points per part, the new Gallery finally organizes your render results clearly, animations render up to 3× faster in headless mode, and GPU performance has been significantly increased once again for complex materials. Sebastian Dosch and Jens Heineck (Senior Director Sales, KeyShot) did not just present these innovations - they showed them step by step in a live demo on a real CAD model.
